We worked closely with Marie Kerrigan to build a training programme for parents that provided an exciting learning experience and resulted in a short celebratory film about the Morningside Children’s and Parents’ Centre. The parents filmed and edited for six days, quickly gaining self-confidence while learning new ICT skills.

We offer five main course types — you can ‘pick and mix’.
Film Making
We work with groups teaching the film making process to help participants make a film about a topic of their choice and interest. It is an enjoyable and motivational experience learning creative and technical skills.
Topical
In The Picture team come and train a group to make a film about your pre-defined topic. Participants master the topic as they learn to make a film and you have a permanent resource that can keep on going, and going.
ICT
We train participants how to use a computer. We start with covering the basics such as sending an email and opening applications, leading on to complex tasks to give participants a great start to opening new doors.
Work-Ready
We work with groups to train participants that want to get back-to-work. We help with presentation skills, team-work, technology, self-confidence and day-to-day life at work to help get them on their way.
